Cantina De Montalcino Brunello de Montalcino 2004
Montalcino
The gamey, liquoricy character of the Brunello is highly appealing; it has good weight and richness on the palate and finishes long with a chocolate complexity. Good depth of ruby red colour, with perfumes of liquorice and blackberry. Excellent weight with rounded tannins and nicely developed plummy fruit. It finishes long, with appealing, spicy complexity.
