Chartron et Trebuchet Macon Villages Chardonnay

This wine is yellow pale in color with aromas of acacia, honeysuckle, citrus fruits. It is fresh and well-fruited on the palate, a spontaneous style.

Food Match - Lightly chilled with seafood and shellfish without highly spiced sauces. Good companion to white meat dishes. Excellent apéritif.

Soil - Chalky

Location - Regional appellation of the Mâconnais wine-growing area, in South Burgundy.

Vineyard - 10 – 30 years old, 10 000 pieds/ha

Harvest - Mechanical harvest

Vinification - Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks

Ageing - No oak ageing
