The colour is garnet with purple reflection. Fresh and intense on red fruit aromas with spicy notes. The taste is fluid and well balanced between roundness and tannins.
The Vineyard

The composition of the Château Paradis soil consists of chalky slopes, clay sand and many stones, enabling the development of deep root-stalks for our vines. Without suffering from the summer drought, our vines bloom harmoniously in the Provence sunshine providing our wine with freshness and finesse.

To ensure that our wines reflect a perfect expression of harmony with nature, we opted for an Organic Agriculture without chemicals, thereby respecting our environment.

It is in the art of blending, however, that our wines find their elegancy. The power of the Cabernet Sauvignon mixes effortlessly with the fruitiness of the Grenache and the spicy aromas of the Syrah ; the roundness of the Grenache Blanc enhances the aromatic complexity of the Sauvignon Blanc.

Critics

Parker - 91 points

The 2007 Tradition, a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Grenache, and 10% Syrah, is a serious wine. Another custom cuvee for the American importer, it exhibits a dense purple color as well as full-bodied creme de cassis, licorice, tobacco leaf, and spice box notes, sweet tannin, fresh acids, and a terrific texture as well as length. This beauty should drink nicely for 4-5 years.

John Wilson, The Irish Times March 27 2010

A concentrated, young, deeply tannic wine packed with dark herby fruits; firm and long, this will certainly improve further. I would recomend decanting an hour before dinner, and try it with a Provencal stew.
