This wine shows marked minerality, impressive purity, and a core of delicious ripe blackberry fruit, enjoy this organically grown and vinified Cabernet Franc from one of the Loire masters. It will drink well for several years, but there is no reason to deprive yourself of its pleasures now.
The Vineyard
The Domaine Breton is a vast wine-growing estate.
The Pierre Family have lived here since the mists of time, the vineyards have been its outlet of creativity for generations. It is where the Cabernet Franc, coincidentally known as the 'Breton' grape, finds its fullest expression.

The spirit of the Loire...
A little further upstream, the little branch brought back by Catherine has sent down roots in Vouvray. Here, the Chenin is a white grape, but in the sunshine it acquires different qualities: sweet, slightly sparkling and incisive.
