Geyerhof, Gruener Veltliner "Hoher Rain" 2007

This is classic GV, not just a simple quaffer but a grown up GV, at 12,5% is has enough weight but not overdone as is the danger with 2006. Everything is in place, the fruit is sweet (pear, apple, melon) and the finish is long, mouthwatering and refreshing.

Creamy and smooth on the palate with clear herbal notes like basil. Underlying, the fruity aromas of apple and honey melon.
