Delicious, the vintage was made from Waipara and Central Otago Pinot Noir.  Partly barrel-fermented, it is bright pink, with strong, smooth berry and plum flavours, fresh, slightly sweet and lively, with a touch of complexity and a lingering finish.

An attractive, floral wine with a hint of red berries and roses, medium sweetness and just a suggestion of barrel fermentation which adds to the texture.  Best chilled.

North Canterbury winemaker Belinda Gould is a dab hand at creating a wide range of wines, including this new " Growers Series" Rose - a blend of Pinot Noir grapes grown in Waipara and Central Otago.  She has fermented some of this wine in barrels, which adds substance, weight and mouthfeel to its fruity appeal.
