Tasting Notes
Rich yellow-gold in colour — almost indicating oaking or ageing but neither is the case here — with heady aromas of stone-fruit, apricot and mango, honeysuckle and quince. Let it warm up a little from the fridge, ideally 10-12 degrees, for the full flavour experience — sweet tropical fruits on a rich, almost oily palate, with layers of complexity, apricot compôte, orange blossom, fig and honey, concentrated and long on the finish.

Linhas Tortas — ‘crooked lines’ — references the rows of old vines as they snake over and around the undulating hillsides of the Douro valley.
This single vineyard blend of Viosinho, Gouveio and Malvasia Fina is picked in the cool of night, with the three grapes pressed and fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Each wine is aged on fine lees in steel tanks, with no oak influence, and only blended once each separate component has matured.
At its best as a gastronomic wine, it is perfect for grilled fish, roasted chicken, or soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert
